We’ll read the beloved book, have lots of caterpillar goodies for sale, including some special tea shop treats, and provide some wonderful photo ops with the Caterpillar himself! We are thrilled and honored to present Canadian author Lindsay Mattick with her book, Finding Winnie: The True Story of the World’s Most Famous Bear. Alice in Wonderland Tea Party

We'll be celebrating all things Alice at a special tea party for ages 4 and up. We'll offer a story and craft. Your child will enjoy an assortment of tea sandwiches, lemonade, an adorable Alice cake pop and a scoop of White Rabbit ice cream. Tickets are $25 per child ($20 for siblings). Each $25 ticket includes a $5 coupon which can be put toward any Alice book or item in the store on the day of the event. MEET SICK SIMON

Simon gets high-fived by his germs for being such a "germ-hero" and spreading his messy cold to everyone he meets. Once he discovers ways to stay healthy, he finds things much more enjoyable. Come for a hilarious morning all about keeping well. We'll make slime and do an experiment that shows why you should use soap when you wash your hands. Each child gets his own tissue pack and hand sanitizer plus lots of fun (and funny) facts about beating germs. Mid-morning healthy snack provided.

Note: All fees are non-refundable and child who misses a camp day will receive craft materials and snack to enjoy at home.

We're so honored to have the opportunity to meet with highly acclaimed Young Adult author Sara Zarr. Visiting from Salt Lake City, Utah, Sara is the author of five wonderful YA novels, including her latest, The Lucy Variations.

Here's how it will work. We have placed Waldo figures and window clings in each of the businesses listed below. Visit each business, find Waldo and pick up an "I Found Waldo at ________" card with each sighting.

Bring your cards back to The Voracious Reader for prize buttons and the chance to win amazing prizes from local merchants as well as Candlewick, the publisher and sponsor of the event.

Search lists are available at any of the participating businesses and the drawing for prizes will be held during our in-store Waldo's 25th Anniversary Celebration on July 31st, at 3pm. We'll also have games, puzzles and some fabulous Waldo cupcakes will be available at our tea shop, A Proper Cup.
